Location

Siófok is the second largest village in Somogy County and the largest village at Lake Balaton. Lake Balaton, the biggest lake in Europe, Siófok is a modern, attractive and well-known relaxation destination for many Europeans. The water of lake Balaton is famous world wide for it’s unbelievably superb water quality and is mentioned in every centeral European guide book as a “must see” attraction. Because Siófok functions as the main commerce center in the area it is often referred to as the capital of Lake Balaton.
The number of the residents living in Siófok hovers around 28,000 but the town’s population increases dramatically during the tourist season to 100,000-150,000 temporary and permanent inhabitants.

Siófok is situated along the M7 motorway and contains it’s own airport which makes travel to and from Siófok a breeze. Siófok maintains many sandy beaches making it ideal for families and children.
